Ignition Switch vs. Seventh Gear | Know the Difference

Stimulant-based pre-workouts are the way to get that extra boost needed in your workouts. We have two stimulant pre-workouts with Seventh Gear and Ignition Switch. Both of these are high quality supplements formulated with several patented ingredients.

Each product will increase your energy levels, mental focus, and endurance. For this post we will break down the key differences between the two products and highlight their similarities. We will also recommend how to take them for optimal results and touch on what other supplements stack well with them.

Step-Up Your Workout with Ignition Switch

Ignition Switch is one of two stimulant-based pre-workout supplements that Axe & Sledge offers. With Ignition Switch you’ll have sustained energy levels throughout your entire training session and no after workout crash. Ignition Switch contains four patented ingredients, including CarnoSyn, AgmaMax, Infinery, and TeaCrine.

These patented ingredients will significantly increase your energy levels, pumps, and performance. They will also heighten your mental focus for a stronger mind to muscle connection.

Let’s take a closer look at these power building ingredients!

CarnoSyn (Beta-Alanine): This patented ingredient is a non-essential amino acid that aides in reducing lactic acid build up and delays muscle fatigue. Beta-alanine builds lean muscle mass as well as improving athletic performance (CarnoSyn 2020).

AgmaMax (Agmatine Sulfate):AgmaMax’s ingredient comes from the amino acid Arginine. Agmatine sulfate maximizes performance in workouts, increases lean muscle mass, and assists blood flow to the muscle cells for a better pump (Vitajoy Biotech 2020).

Infinergy (Dicaffeine Malate): Infinergy is patented form of caffeine that was developed by Creative Compounds. It's composed of two caffeine molecules bound to malic acid. Due to Infinergy's unique chemical composition, it takes the body slightly longer to break down, leaving you sustained and long-lasting energy.

TeaCrine (Theacrine):caffeine TeaCrine is a patented form of theacrine that was developed by Compound Solutions. Theacrine is a stimulant that's naturally found in the kucha leaf. Theacrine gives off a gradual and longer duration of energy with no crash. Besides energy theacrine provides for a boost in physical performance, intense mental focus, pain reduction, and stress relief (Williamson 2020).

Suggested Use/Stacking Options

For optimal results, mix one scoop of Ignition Switch with 8-10 ounces of cold water and consume 20-30 minutes prior to training.

Ignition Switch stacks well with The Grind, our essential amino acid/hydration supplement, as well as Hydraulic, our stimulant-free pre-workout.

If you're interested in trying Ignition Switch with The Grind and/or Hydraulic, we highly recommend checking out our Pre and Post Stack. You can also stack Ignition Switch with Hydraulic and Demo Day, which is known as Seth’s 1-1-1 Stack.

Shift Your Workout into Seventh Gear

For those who like taking Ignition Switch and would like to shift their workouts into next gear then pick up a tub of Seventh Gear. This supplement is an extreme stimulant pre-workout with three high-powered stimulants, including caffeine anhydrous, dicaffeine malate (as Infinergy), and theacrine (as TeaCrine). With Seventh Gear you will take your workouts to the next level adding high-speed energy, ruthless aggression, and increased mental focus.

We were not messing around when we created Seventh Gear. This product will enhance your muscular endurance as well as give you endless energy and stamina for your workouts. Like Ignition Switch, Seventh Gear also has four patented ingredients including Infinergy, Creatine Magnapower, TeaCrine, and BioPerine.

Now let's breakdown these intense ingredients!

Creatine MagnaPower (Magnesium Creatine Chelate): A patented ingredient that increases your body’s ability to create adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the cell's preferred energy source. Magnesium creatine chelate also helps with creatine absorption, carb metabolism, increases energy, and improves workout performance (Creatine MagnaPower 2016).

TeaCrine (Theacrine): As described above, this is a natural substance with similar effects to caffeine. Thearine gives you that boost of energy, an increased physical performance, heightened mental focus, pain reduction, and stress relief (Williamson 2020).

BioPerine (Black Pepper Extract): BioPerine is a standardized form of black pepper extract that contains at least 95% piperine. Piperine is a bioactive compound that helps enhance the bioavailability, absorption, and effectiveness of each ingredient found in Seventh Gear. (BioPerine 2020).

Suggested Use/Stacking Options

For optimal results, mix one scoop of Seventh Gear with 8-10 ounces of cold water and consume 20-30 minutes prior to training. Since Seventh Gear contains nearly 500 milligrams of stimulants, start with 1/2 scoop to assess your tolerance.

Vincenzo's Mass Stack, which includes Seventh Gear, Demo Day, and Hydraulic, is the perfect way to take your workouts to the next level. However, it's important to note that while it is safe to take Hydraulic with Ignition Switch, we do caution stacking Seventh Gear and Hydraulic.

Reason being that Hydraulic is a vasodilator which means it opens up your veins for better blood flow. Seventh Gear is a vasoconstrictor which makes your veins narrow. If you choose to take Hydraulic and Seventh Gear together, then we recommend taking Seventh Gear in smaller dosage of either a quarter or a half scoop.

Final Thoughts

If you're looking for a pre-workout with a higher stimulant content, choose Seventh Gear. But if you want a more well-rounded, moderate-stimulant, pre-workout, pick up Ignition Switch. Either way, you won't be disappointed!

We work hard to make the best supplements so that you can maximize your workouts. So, ask yourself one question, are you a hardworking motherfucker? If the answer is yes, then add Ignition Switch or Seventh Gear to your next pre-workout routine!
