Micronutrient Breakdown

In order for a supplement to be considered as a meal replacement, it was a must to include a good amount of micronutrients in addition to a well-balanced macronutrient profile.

Here’s what 2 scoops of Blueberry Muffin Home Made contains:

Vitamin A - 700 mcg RAE

Calcium - 330 mg

Iron - 1.8 mg

Phosphorus - 320 mg

Magnesium - 35 mg

Sodium - 200 mg

Potassium - 420 mg

Primary Carbohydrate Sources

Oatmeal Flour

Oatmeal flour is a nutrient-rich, naturally gluten-free flour made from finely ground oats. It's high in fiber—especially beta-glucan—which supports heart health, digestion, and balanced blood sugar. Packed with essential vitamins and minerals like magnesium, phosphorus, and B vitamins, it provides sustained energy from complex carbohydrates. Oatmeal flour also adds a soft texture and mild, nutty flavor to baked goods, making it a versatile and wholesome choice for both traditional and gluten-free recipes.

Sweet Potato Powder

The second primary carbohydrate source in Home Made is sweet potato powder, which is also where the majority of vitamin A is coming from. Similar to oats, sweet potatoes are a low-glycemic carbohydrate that’s rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals.

Most notably, sweet potatoes contain a high amount of antioxidants, such as anthocyanins and beta-carotene, which help defend against free radicals and may reduce the risk of some chronic health conditions.

Primary Protein Sources

Whey Protein Concentrate

The next protein source in Home Made is whey protein concentrate WPC, which is very similar to WPI. Whey protein concentrate is also a byproduct of cheese production and naturally found in dairy.

Whey protein concentrate is still considered to be a fast-digesting protein, however, it’s slightly slower than WPI. Although WPC contains higher amounts of fats, carbohydrates, and lactose, it’s still rich in protein, essential amino acids, and branched-chain amino acids.

Primary Fat Source

Medium Chain Triglycerides (Derived From Coconut Oil)

The primary fat source in Home Made is medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). Medium-chain triglycerides are naturally found in some foods, such as coconut oil.  Medium-chain triglycerides get their name from their chemical structure.

On average, MCT’s have 6-12 carbon atoms, whereas long-chain triglycerides have 13-20. Since MCTs have a different chemical structure than long-chain triglycerides, they are metabolized faster and more efficiently used for energy.

Due to their unique structure, MCTs may:

  • Increase energy levels
  • Boost metabolism
  • Suppress appetite
  • Improve cognition

Patented Ingredients

Digestive Enzymes - DigeSEB™

DigeSEB™ is a proven and effective enzyme blend developed by Specialty Enzyme & Probiotics. DigeSEB™ is included in Home Made to significantly improve the digestion and absorption of all the nutrients. Digestive enzymes are essential for digestive health and supplementing with them can reduce the risk of gastrointestinal issues, such as gas, bloating, and heartburn.[1]

Here’s an overview of the substrate that each enzyme helps break down:

  • Amylases - breaks down starches (complex carbohydrates)
  • Lactase - breaks down lactose (milk sugars)
  • Proteases - breaks down protein
  • Lipase - breaks down lipids (fats)
  • Cellulase - breaks down cellulose (a polysaccharide in plants)[1]

Pea Starch - Carb10®

Carb10® is a fast-digesting, low-glycemic carbohydrate derived from pea starch, designed to provide clean and sustained energy without causing blood sugar spikes or digestive discomfort. Unlike traditional carb sources like maltodextrin, Carb10® is easy on the stomach, making it ideal for pre-, intra-, or post-workout use. It’s also non-GMO, gluten-free, and favored in performance supplements for delivering smooth, crash-free energy.

Soluble Tapioca Fiber Powder - FiberSMART®

FiberSMART® is a high-quality, non-GMO soluble fiber made from tapioca, designed to boost the fiber content of foods without affecting taste or texture. With over 90% dietary fiber, it supports digestive health, helps regulate blood sugar, promotes calcium absorption for bone health, and may aid in lowering cholesterol.
