Alli's Apple Pie Whey Drip

Alli Prince utilizes whey drip in prep and the offseason to add some flavor to her cream of rice without it turning into a soupy mess! Oftentimes if you add whey protein isolate to cream of rice, it becomes very watery but with this method that's not the case! It's bascially like making a healthy frosting to place on whatever your heart desires, such as cream of rice, rice cakes, oatmeal, or pancakes, etc.

Whey drip is very simple to make but you need the proper amount of water to powder ratio and Alli has perfected it!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl mix the Farm Fed with the water, milk or almond milk and mix until it has a frosting or icing like consistency. If you have a kitchen scale it makes the measuring of this much easier because you want to be precise! Adding too much water could ruin the recipe!
  2. Place the bowl in the freezer or fridge for 5-10 minutes. This makes it even thicker!
  3. Cook the cream of rice as directed and let cool for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Pour the whey drip on top and add any other toppings you desire! Alli is a big fan of almond butter!
