Unlike whole food carbohydrate sources, Demo Day passes through the stomach very quickly but slows down once it reaches the small intestine. From there it's slowly absorbed into the blood stream to provide you with a sustained-energy source. If you are tracking your calories/macros, account for the carbs and calories coming from Demo Day. You can always adjust the serving size based on your specific caloric needs.
Demo Day can be taken before training, during training, or after training.
Pre-workout: mix 1/2-1 scoop with 10-12 ounces of water and consume 20-30 minutes prior to training.
